Open Question: Why is my sight more blurred than before without eyeglasses?

I just have my new prescription glasses and whenever I take it off, I notice that my sight is more blurred than before. Why? Are my eyes getting worse?

I planned on ordering new glasses and lenses (as my current ones a quite broken) from a website online. When my prescription was mailed to me by my former optometrist, it included an expiration date (which was in May of this year). What is the purpose of the expiration date? Does this mean that I need to go have my eyes reevaluated and can no longer use this prescription? When I spoke to the woman who mailed it to me, she didn't mention anything regarding that, so I'd imagine that if that *was* the case, she'd have went ahead and told me the prescription was useless. Can anyone clear this up for me? I'm a bit confused.

I want to buy some black wayfarer glasses and i was wondering if i were to buy sunglasses instead of eyeglasses. Would they be able to change the lenses into ones with prescription? what if i buy the glasses from ebay and they say in the description that they are eyeglasses and not sunglasses will they still be able to change the glass??

Okay so a few months ago I went to a new eye doctor and they did a full check up. I looked through the big machine thing and he asked me which one is more clear 1 or 2, etc. My prescription for my contacts and eyeglasses he put down as -1.25 in each eye. I don't know what my old one was for my eyeglasses (barely wore them) but for my contacts my old one was -1.50 each eye. I just ordered some new glasses from Target and handed them my prescription which only said -1.25 for Left and Right eye on the card. Well I got them and they are really wacky to me, makes me dizzy, stuff is narrower/wider than they should be, eye strain, etc. I did some research and apparently your prescription is supposed to have like axis, pd, and something else? Mine didn't, I have a feeling the girl at Target quickly took these measurements b/c I tried on the sample frames that I wanted and she marked them with a marker where my pupils were and stuff like that and measured it with a ruler... I feel like it should take more than 30 seconds to do... is this why my new glasses are so disorienting? because she messed up on the measurements?

I got new eyeglasses today after 3 years of wearing the same ones. I had a new eye test and the doctor said my prescription was almost the same, but made a few small tweaks. I have been wearing my new glasses all day and they seem a bit strange. My perception of objects is a bit off, sort of like when I first started wearing glasses. Is this normal? Should I give it a few days to see if my eyes get used to the new glasses or should I go back and make sure my prescription is right? Thanks!

I just came back from the eye doctor. I asked for a copy of my prescription. She gave me one for contacts. Can I use this info to get glasses, or do I need additional info? Looks something like this: R -2.25 BC 8.6 L -2.25 BC 8.6 There's also a spot that says "CYL" but there is a line through it.

I was dating an identical twin, the deal is his other twin is bi-sexual. They are so identical they can trade eyeglasses because they have the same prescriptions. Heres the deal, the twin I was dating never likes for a woman to touch him sexually, he does not even like to have oral sex, and I know from previous relationships I am good at oral sex!! He says he has never really liked to have anyone do anything to him he prefers to do all the work. He loves being around the guys and will even forego havin sex to hang with the fellows. He talks about his twin a lot.He is very demeaning and demanding with women but is not that way with the guys. He tries to be super-masculine with them when they are around. Resolved Question: Several lens-makers and eyeglass stores turned me down, where can I get custom made non-prescription lenses?

for these special glasses of mine? They are a single large wrap around lens and I need them in a particular tint, but all the optical stores and lens-makers near me said they can't do it. I already have the frame. So what can I do now? Maybe I should rephrase my question as: Where can I get the orange sheet and equipment to make my own wrap-around, flip up lenses in my garage? I don't think this is impossible, obviously people are getting things like this from somewhere.
